- A Chinese teenager apprehended for attacking people with knives and axe in the Chinese province of Xinjiang, has confessed that he was roped in to wage a ‘holy’ war.
- He was the only one of the 3 attackers who were apprehended as the others were killed when people fought back against them with sticks and chairs.
- The confession comes during a period of increased security and propaganda by the Chinese govt to counter the growing extremists group in Xinjiang.
