Now, 3D model for curly hair

  • Recently, scientists have developed a very first exhaustive model for the 3-D strand of curly hair. Using this latest advancement, the animators can give their characters a bouncy, curly hair look instead of those usual straight or rigid locks.
  • The animators tend to utilize the curly hair design rarely because they don’t have a simple, plain mathematical means to describe it.
  • This new development will certainly be helpful for the animation film industry. It will also be useful for the engineers to calculate the curve of the long steel tubs, pipes and cable that normally gets a round shape when coiled around a reel for transport.
