- The machine keeps a printed record of voter’s choice inside it on thermal papers that remains undamaged for five years.
- The constituency’s small size compared to three other seats in Bangalore city makes it ideal for the VVPAT experiment
- Voters are not allowed to take mobile phones inside polling booths, those violating the rule will face action under RPA Act.
- Any anomaly in printed record can be reported to concerned presiding officer at booth.
- Machine record can be used to authenticate the votes polled if a candidate in the fray so demands in writing
- In 2004 Lok Sabha polls, EVMS to have the option button of NOTA (None Of The Above) to record voters’ rejection of all candidates.
