Think Out Of The Box Says Commerce Minister

  • At her first Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) meet, Commerce Minister Nirmala Seetharaman urged industrialists to think out of the box and come up with innovative products.
  • Responding to a complaint against the encroaching of Chinese products in the market, including Ganesha idols, Ms. Seetharaman asked them to compare their products with the Chinese products to ascertain where they lacked.
  • She also asked them to continuously make their voice heard through emails and letters.
  • Industrialists pressed for revival of manufacturing, ease of doing business and infrastructure development.
