- Digital assessments for commerce students are going hi-tech to supplement classroom learning like animated movies to explain concepts; games and activities to make learning more interactive
- Science and Engineering courses already had this technology use but now gradually will support commerce students as well
- Since students use gadgets and are tech savvy this method will be helpful in sourcing information
- This concept will be applicable on all smartphones, computers, tablets or any device where Internet can be accessed while students will be given login and password for accessing the information
- The concept will cost around Rs.1500 to Rs.2500 and is not mandatory for learning
- As of now I and II PU commerce courses, Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretaries are using this and B.Com and BBM will cover this soon
- The technology will only serve the purpose as an aid and cannot replace teacher interaction, face to face interaction is necessary
- The technology might make students lose interest in the classroom and the pros and cons have to be looked upon in this emerging concept
