- UPS and Hot water facility will be available to new born and mothers from Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)
- The provision will be available for around 30 hospitals run under the BBMP
- A cost of rupees 75,000 each (including laying pipes and plumbing) will be allotted to install water heaters of 100 liter capacity
- An estimate of Rs. 1.5 cr will be invested and BBMP would install solar water heaters in its 40 staff quarters — 20 on Magadi Road and the rest near Subbaiah Circle — at a cost of Rs. 30 lakh.
