Set up Special Courts to Try Hoarders: PM

Plan B to tackle monsoon is planned and set up a special court for dealing with hoarders and black markets
Center along with state will deal with adverse effects of monsoon and steps will be taken to tame inflation, top priority by NDA government
The center has called for strict action against hoarders and black marketers
Contingency plan has been prepared by the agricultural ministry to combat patchy rains in more than 500 districts
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD) sustainable rains are expected by July and August
Center and state will have a coordinator in implementing the advance action plan
National Rural Employment Guarantee Act will help rural employment and emphasize on adequate power and seed availability for the agriculture sector as well
Though there were stock of onions and potatoes because of the speculation by the hoarders the prices had gone high says Mr. Paswan, hoarding, food and consumer affairs minister
Due to stocks available of the two main kitchen items in the domestic market government will ensure price will be taken care
Within three months the states should implement Food Security Act as 11 states and union territories have implemented while 6 partially
Further the states who have implemented the act would not be deprived of food grains at subsidized rates
