“There was a need for robust evidence-based research that established homeopathy as a viable and economical option. The expensive healthcare facilities offered by super-specialty hospitals are beneficial only for the rich. Homeopathy is very cost effective and therefore suited for India’s economic situation. The government should make affordable healthcare accessible to all. Organisations & institutions involved in promoting homeopathy practice should prevail upon the govt to evolve health policies that enable the integration of the services of homeopathic practitioners into the healthcare system. It was unfortunate that most of the homeopathic practitioners are based in urban areas. “Collaborative model of healthcare” would emerge in the 21st century and homeopathy practitioners had to rise to the occasion. Although there are 12,000 homeopathy practitioners in the State, there are only 43 dispensaries dedicated to this system of medicine.” -Governor H.R. Bhardwaj
