- It is decided by Delhi Government to give a 50% waiver to those people who have not paid their bills from October 2012 to April 2013.
- This benefit is given to those people who did not to pay till December & are a part of protests. Any penalty on the bills will be waived off.
- This movement was hugely praised and followed by hardcore AAP supporters, but the officers of power distribution companies were obviously against it. According to them, the usual defaulters should be distinguished from agitators, and failing to do so will only benefit the corrupt consumers.
- The distinguishing of regular defaulters in this case is a must. If the Delhi government fails to do so, it will simply encourage other corrupt consumers to follow suit.
