- The Eygpt-brokered deal also:
- Ends the decade long blockade that was imposed on Gaza and will make way for relief and humanitarian aid and reconstruction supplies to enter Gaza.
- Provides for immediate extension of the six nautical miles of the area open to Gaza fishermen.
- Israel accepted the deal and will send a delegation to Egypt to raise their concerns over the demilitarization and preventing rearming of Hamas.
