- Advanced Rapid Diagnosis Kits (RDKs) will be used to detect various types of fever specially Malaria which is expected in the monsoon season
- The expected trouble is in Visakha agency area, Collector S. Solomon Arokia Raj spent three days in the Agency and toured some interior villages.
- The situation was not alarming however this was a precaution for the last year’s effect
- Senior medical officers including the ITDA officers were deputed to examine the issue
- Each of the 36 PHCs had an ambulance at its disposal and a Medical Officer was made available at every PHC, PHC had been given 3,000 kits. RDKs would help diagnosing a positive case within minutes
