Narmada Dam to be Higher by 17 m

• Height of the dam to be raised to full reservoir level from 121.92 to 138.72
• The gate will be installed in “open position” and the water resource secretary took the decision in an “emergency meeting”
• The meeting was held amid-ts the Gujarat,Madhya Pradesh,Maharashtra and Rajastan states ministers
• Union Water Resource Minister Mrs.Uma told the families will be rehabilitated and have agreed upon this 
• Narmada Bachao Andolan activists are not really convinced with the decision
