- The Centre for Social Research (CSR) and Rainmaker have together launched MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), a free online course to create awareness and combat sexual harassment at the workplace.
- It will introduce mechanisms and procedures instituted by the Sexual Harassment Act to facilitate a safe working environment for women, and also study the various remedies available under the Act.
- Sexual harassment is the most unreported crime in societies and ranges from mildly distasteful sexist comments and jokes, pornographic pin-up posters, provocative electronic mail, X-rated computer software and assault and rape in extreme cases.
