Jyothi Sanjeevini Health Scheme to be Rolled Out Next Month

  • 5.6 lakh Karnataka govt employees to benefit from Health Department’s Jyothi Sanjeevini cashless healthcare programme;dependents, parents covered
  • Tertiary ailments (cardiovascular, cancer, neurological,renal, burns, poly-trauma, neo-natal) to be implemented by Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust
  • Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) to give ID cards to employees for the purpose, SAST working out cost
  • Practice of paying brief for medical reimbursement is proposed to be contained by the healthcare scheme.
  • No ceilings on cost incurred for treatment.
