- The growing numbers in the Gaza strip has caused worry for many a people especially central Israeli Arab town they are caught in the middle between Jewish neighbours and their fellow Palestinians
- Tira, a town of 25,000 people are close to the Jewish community and are with Israel society but also empathies with the Palestinians
- The latest round of fighting between Israel and Hamas militants has increased strain and tension internally where Israeli Arab people look like Arabs to Jews and vice a versa

- Out of 8 million residents in Israel, Arabs make up to 20% whereas the Palestinians hold citizenship at the West Bank and Gaza Strip, but most often they feel they are treated as second-class citizens

- Hawkish Israeli’s have boycotted the Arabs businesses and Arabs have encountered increasing racism
- Israeli Arabs had are particularly hard time because they could see the suffering and growing extremism on both sides. “What the army is doing in Gaza is just creating more enemies,” opine the Director of Mossawa, Mr.Jafar Farah
