- India is looking at increasing its hydrocarbons export to Pakistan, which has also responded in the affirmative.
- According to sources, the gas would first be imported to the LNG terminal at Dahej and then to Jalandhar through an existing pipeline network. Jalandhar will also be connected through a new 103-km pipeline to be laid by GAIL (India) Ltd.
