WHO Says That 33% of New TB Patients Don't Have Access To Care
  • After WHO alert, India gears up to take on Zika. Press release by the Health Ministry said that NCDC, Delhi and NIV, Pune will be the apex laboratories to support the outbreak investigation and for confirmation of diagnosis.
  • It also stated that ten additional laboratories would be provided by the Indian Council of Medical Research.
  • The Health Ministry has set up a joint monitoring group under the Director-General of Health Services (DGHS) to follow the events daily.
