Increase In Temperature Increases The Risk Of Malaria

  • Researchers have said that increase in temperature by 1 degree Celsius would result in 3 million malaria cases annually.
  • They also said that soon the cases will be more in hilly regions as those living there lack immunity against the disease.
  • Researchers have debated the effect of Global Warming on health of the people and it was observed that malaria causing mosquitoes move to hilly regions during warmer seasons more in numbers than plains.
