- An IIT Delhi graduate has won a google-sponsored $20,000 prize for developing a technique to protect against cyber attacks.
- This technique addresses the problem of software obfuscation – making the computer program code unintelligible while preserving its functionality to prevent its tampering.
- His approach makes it impossible to reverse engineer the obfuscated software without solving mathematical problems that take hundreds of years to work out on present day computers.
