Govt. Renews Air Safety Contract with Wicks

  • The government has renewed a contract with the U.S.-based Wicks Group to help the country retain its air safety ranking.
  • The Wicks Group had assisted the DGCA and the FAA in April last year restored India's safety ranking to Category-I, implying the country is meeting the international standards in terms of civil aviation safety oversight.
