Government To Bring Back The Magnificence Of Red Fort

Government To Bring Back The Magnificence Of Red Fort

  • The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture has criticised the Ministry of Culture for ignoring to restore the ‘Red Fort’, the iconic monument where PM unfolds our National Tricolour on the Independence Day.
  • Now, the Archaeological Survey of India will renovate the ‘Red Fort’ soon. The renovation will be done in such a way that the earlier glory of the Mughal-age is revived.
  • Well, it is somehow distressing that the respective departments have failed to renovate such a great monument for a long period. Nothing has been done to compensate the loss and deliberate demolition that took place during the colonial era.
