FSDC To Help Banks To Meet Basel-III Norms
- A subcommittee under FSDC has decided to help banks to comply with BASEL-III norms.
- After the US bubble crisis Basel norms were much sought after by many central banks across the world as they help in monitoring financial stability of banks.
- It was decided that a high-powered inter-regulatory committee would be formed to help banks to meet BASEL-III requirements such as capital adequacy ratio and requirements of supervisory capital.
