Geopolitics is a science that deals with the influence of geographical factors on politics. More precisely, how geographical factors viz. Sea,mountains, rivers,geographical location of a state and other geographical factors of that state influence its economic n political affairs r included in d study of geopolitics.
While geostrategy is a part of geopolitics. It is the foreign policy that should be taken by the state to improve its economic,social,political status at global level based on its geographical factors.
For example:
Suppose A state situates beside the sea and B is a state which is landlocked. But both states want to improve their status,strength at global level. So state A can reach its goal if it concentrates on the sea power, marine resources .It can develop a strong navy and also can improve its trade through oceans , can utilize oceanic resources n thus it can improve its status at global level based on its geographical factors. Similarly B state can reach its goal through proper utilization of land power. So here we see that based on geographical factors states can make suitable foreign policies to improve its status. This is geostrategy and the whole matter I.e how geographical factors influence the states international affairs and its status at global level is under the study of geopolitics.
