- Karnataka’s government e-portal will take up forest clearances for industry and infrastructure projects followed by online environmental approvals
- The e-portal will track and find out the reason for delay in the Rs.100 crore projects and will gradually bring in a transparent, digitised system of fast-tracking large projects of over Rs. 1,000 crore
- Project Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Cabinet Committee on Investment under the Prime Minister will monitor the e-portals and if any issues related to the portal they will handle and close the issue at the earliest
- Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry hosted the launch of the e-portal by Chief Secretary Kaushik Mukherjee
- At the centre issues related to about 150 project proposals worth investments of Rs. 5.5 lakh crore have been resolved
- Using the e-portal for such projects would be a huge revolutionary change
