Film Festivals to promote tourism and cinema culture in North Eastern states

• The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has decided to hold series of film festivals in north eastern states to promote cinema culture and showcase NE states as tourism destinations.
• The first film festival is being held at Shillong and the rest will cover in this year.
• Exhibition showcasing 100years of Indian Cinema would also be held at the film festival.
