“End Hunger Fast” Campaign in UK

  • A coalition of 20 anti-poverty charitables came forward to create awareness about ending hunger in UK.
  • They said malnourishment has increased and one in five mothers in UK skip their meals to feed children
  • The main reasons for this is said to be Increase in food prices, falling of wages and the benefit system.
  • The “End Hunger Fast campaign” has got a support from many leaders and celebrities were they will sit on hunger strike for 24 hours urging government to take measures to end Hunger in UK.
