- The issue was raised and escalated when ‘Parivadini,’ popular music was uploaded
- Content ID is a mechanism on You Tube when the video was uploaded and notifies the content owner to deal with the issue
- Lalitha Ram, one of the co-founders of Parivadini points out that the a specific performance of an artist can be recorded and uploaded but cannot claim copyrights on the songs
- Companies in the past have the copyright for a few compositions but in consequence to the videos alleged to have violated copyright were removed
- The recording houses have misused the richness and glory of the classical music which is further developed and used in the west
- If the violation is made on You Tube more than three times then the channel will be closed
- Application for such copyright forms will affect not only carnatic music but other music forms as well
