  • Red planet Mars, according to scientists, once was wet and warm
  • Spacecrafts landing on Mars points to existence of hydrous rocks, an indicator of water bearing rivers and lakes
  • If the atmosphere is thin then the rock will survive the fall and hit the surface similarly wider the surface bigger the space the rock has to survive friction of its contact.
  • In Mars’ atmosphere water will both freeze and turn into vapour
  • Since the mars is far more distance from the sun the stars are less brighter
  • 319 Craters, left on Mars surface by impact of collisions with asteroids, examined to measure atmospheric pressure in the past
  • Water on Mars contained high level of acidity and salt contents,
  • The “transient intervals” of denser atmosphere caused by the planet’s tilt
