  • Two awards recognising institutions who have rendered commendable service in the field of child welfare - Cash award Rs.1,00,000/- and citation
  • Bhagyalakshmi scheme: Insurance scheme worth Rs.19,300 for the first girl child and Rs.18,350 for the second girl child born in BPL families that will fetch Rs.1,00,000 after the child attains 18 years
  • ICPS (Integrated Child Protection Services): To provide safe and secure environment for overall development of children who are in need of care and protection and in confliction with law
  • ICDS (Integrated Child Development Services): Flagship scheme of Government covering children from 6 months to 6 years, expectant mothers lactating mothers and adolescent girls. Implemented through 61,187 Anganwadi Centers and 3,331 Mini Anganwadi Centers covering 204 ICDS projects in the state.
  • Ksheera Bhagya: 150ml milk served thrice a week to all childen in Anganwadis below 6 years of age. Milk and Eggs thrice a week to severely malnourished childre in Anganwadis
  • Bala Sanjeevini Programme: Treatment for children suffering from diseases like Pneumonia ,Epilepsy, Anaemia (18 identified diseases) in 28 recognised hospitals throughout the state
  • Sabala Scheme: Supplementary Nutrition, Health Services, Life skills and vocational training for adolescent girls in 9 selected districts
  • Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights: Established with the purpose of protection, promotion and defending of child rights
