- Justice Dutta voiced out if the terrorists get the ammunition which is because of illegal sale of arms and ammunition by an army official, the terrorists will misuse the weapons
- The most shocking thing was that the army man sold his gun for profit in a disciplined force and Justice referred to a case of sale of non-standard-pattern weapons and imported ammunition by high-ranking officers of the Southwestern Command in Ganganagar district of Rajasthan near the India-Pakistan border
- The question is if this is a case in one command then what about the other eight commands who are free, and the people who are involved are not cadets but they are high rank officers
- This Rajasthan case must just be small information and by enlarging the inquiry to other eight commands the court might get further information on the same
- The Supreme Court has sought a full fledge investigation covering all the nine Army Commands into the illegal sale of arms and ammunition by Army officials
- The Bench was hearing a petition filed by a senior advocate on nexus between army officials and arm dealers
