All Future Buildings in Gurgaon to have Separate Drinking, Treated Water Supply

  • New buildings in Haryana’s Gurgaon to get sanctions only if they have set up units for supply of quality drinking water and clean water for gardens and toilets.
  • Town and Country Planning dept to be on the job, move aimed at putting a halt to unbridled drawing of ground water, industry to use tertiary treated water.
  • Gurgaon currently depends on 60 MGD water supply daily, zone-3 to soon have water supplied from 1,600 km long Chandu Budhera pipeline.
