65% of Karnataka Households do not have Toilets

• Women are most affected by this and also wild animals attacking the people while they attend the nature’s call
• Around 35% households use toilets where as Nationally, the number of households with toilets is 40.30%, says a survey by the Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan (NBA)
• Chamrajnagar and Hyder-Karnatak regions have fewest toilets
• Dakshina Kannada is on top with 97.85%, while Raichur is at the bottom with 9.24% due to lack of water
