  • Sri Ganganagar – Tiruchirappalli Humsafar Express (Weekly) (via Krishnarajapuram, Pune, Ahmedabad)

India & Ukraine to strengthen bilateral cooperation through Cinema 

  • The cooperation would be helpful to showcase films through the medium of Film Festivals and utilizing the Film Facilitation Office platform established by India.

International Current Affairs

Georgia Granted Visa-Free Travel to EU by Member States

  • European Union member states have approved the visa-free travel for Georgia to facilitate cooperation of Georgia with the European Union.
  • Under the accord, Georgian citizens will be able to travel visa-free for 90 days in the EU during any 180-day period.
  • The accord does not apply to the United Kingdom or Ireland.
  • The accord now requires formal signature by the 28 member states and the European Parliament.

Reliance General Insurance, Catholic Syrian Bank announced tie up

  • RGI will offer its insurance products to Catholic Syrian Bank’s customers across its branches in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
  • This tie-up will enable RGI to leverage Catholic Syrian Bank’s retail and SME customer base, robust distribution network, strong technology platform and brand name and offer them innovative and a comprehensive range of insurance products from RGI

Indian Navy successfully test-Fires anti-ship missile from Kalvari Submarine

  • During a test firing in the Arabian Sea, the missile successfully hit a surface target at extended ranges.
  • The anti-ship missiles will provide the Kalvari class submarines ability to neutralize surface threats at extended ranges.
  • INS Kalvari is the first of India’s six Scorpene-class submarines which are being built under the Project 75.
  • The diesel powered Kalvari (Scorpene) class submarines have superior stealth. They use guided weapons such as tube-launched anti-ship missiles and torpedoes on enemy submarines from the surface or underwater.
